Ceylon Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) is the true medicinal cinnamon where you may be more familiar with Cassia Cinnamon (C. cassia) that we use for baking. Ceylon Cinnamon is drying and can help dry out wet and productive coughs, diarrhea, stimulating to aid in digestion and circulation. The antiseptic properties make it great for oral infections or gut dysbiosis. It also may improve insulin sensitivity which may help balance blood sugar.
Add to liquids as needed, especially great in coffee + tea!
Handmade on our farm, extracted over 6 weeks in high quality alcohol. 2 oz fluid dropper.
